Cancellation, Refund & Return Policy


Returns for Accessories and ready to ship bags: 
All accessories and ready to ship bags that are unused and in new/original condition may be returned to Bella Modi within 7 days of receipt for an exchange or full refund.

Non-Returnable Items: 
Custom designed handbags - Due to the nature of our product, custom designed handbags are non-refundable unless there is a clear manufacturer defect. New/unused handbags with clear manufacturer defects may be returned within 7 days of receipt for: repair, replacement (with the exact same design) or a refund.

Please note: Each handbag is individually made to order with high-grade leather. Leather is a natural material made from live animals and will display differences from hide to hide. Changes in the color or texture of the leather and signs of wear are normal. While we handle our skins with the utmost care and all efforts are made to avoid major defects, minor defects (such as small scratches, scars or blemishes) and inconsistencies of color and texture add to the natural beauty and individuality of each final product. Minor defects as noted above will not be considered a manufacturer defect.

Order Cancellations:
You can cancel your order for up to 24 hours without any fees or penalties.  There is a $50 cancellation fee for orders cancelled within 2-3 days.  There is a $100 cancellation fee for orders cancelled within 4-7 days. After 1 week, orders cannot be cancelled.   See full return & cancelation policy.

Changes to my Order:
You may change your order for up to 24 hours without any fees or penalties.  After 24 hours, you may be charged a change fee of up to $100.00.

Return Process: 
All returns require a return authorization code (RAC) and customer is responsible for return shipping and tracking.

  1. Obtain a return authorization code by calling customer service at 1.208.345.3361. Please have your order number available.
  2. Package your return and include your original receipt with the RAC on the receipt as well as the outside of the box
  3. Ship your return to:

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, any applicable shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds: (if applicable) 

Any item requesting a return authorization more than 7 days after initial delivery will not be eligible for a refund. Items returned with return authorizations must be delivered to Bella Modi within 5 business days of return authorization issue date to be eligible for a refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. 

If approved, your refund will be processed in 3-5 days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.

Late or missing refunds: (if applicable) 
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. 

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items: (if applicable) 
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded unless defecfective.

Exchanges: (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
